During the month of September, National Recovery Month aims to increase awareness and educate people about how substance use and mental health services can help people and their families live healthy and rewarding lives. With the right treatment, support, and resources, recovery is possible for everyone.

Every September since 1992, California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals (CCAPP) sponsors National Recovery Month at the California State Capitol where thousands gather to increase awareness and understanding of substance use disorders and mental health and celebrate people in recovery.

Time: Begins at 9am with pancake breakfast
